Returns the k-th largest value from a dataset.

Syntax

=LARGE(array, k)

Example

Excel
=LARGE(A:A, 3)

Returns the 3rd largest value in column A.

Tips & Notes

  • →k=1 returns the maximum value
  • →Use SMALL for the k-th smallest
  • →Ignores text and blank cells
