Syntax
=SUMIF(range, criteria, [sum_range])Example
Excel
=SUMIF(A:A, "Approved", B:B)Sums all values in column B where the corresponding cell in column A equals "Approved".
Tips & Notes
- →If sum_range is omitted, sums the range itself
- →Supports wildcards: * (any chars), ? (one char)
- →Use ">100" or "<="&C1 for numeric conditions
